In the story "The last question" what is the significance of the phrase "brooded over what was now chaos" near the end of the story? What do you think will be the next major breakthrough in space exploration that will radically change our human presence in space?

What other technologies or abilities will need to be developed along with or before the construction of a large scale self-sustaining space station?
What is the biggest problem involved with the construction of a large scale space station? 1. Do you see anything in our society today that suggests that the approach in the story might work?
2. Do you see any flaw in the approach the society used in the story to abolish war? 3. Assuming that the ideas in the story worked, is this a good trade-off for the large scale devastation caused by war? Three of the stories we read were probably less realistic than the others. "Special aptitude"," Invasion report", and "Buy Jupiter" are all a bit more farfetched than some others we have read. If you accept the premise of the story, such as interstellar travel, alien life on Venus, or aliens stopping by the Earth, then which of the stories seems more probable given the setting of the story. Why? In the setting of the stories which outcome seems less likely? Why?
What aspects of the story are based in reality? Do we see any evidence of this happening today? Is it reasonable that it would get to the level described in the story?
Which did you like better the video or the short story?
What differences did you notice between the two, how did he differences impact the story? What technology from science fiction would you most like to have available today?
What negative consequences might result from this technology being available? How are the aliens in Green patches and Each an explorer similar? In which story do the aliens seem more possible?
